A quick question: Who of you has never heard anything about the "Glossy Box", "Jolie Box", "Douglas Box" or "Glam Box"? There have been so many bloggers and youtubers reviewing these boxes. Most of those reviews were quite positive, so I decided to try out one box. I chose the Glam Box. I payed 20 Swiss Francs for this January box.

First of all: I got really excited when I got back from work and saw the little parcel. I love the look of the Glam Box; it's basically very girly with a lot of pink and glitter and a cute little bow. Then there's a note, summarising the content. I received 4 samples: a volume shampoo by John Frieda, a volume hairspray also by John Frieda, a deodorant by Garnier and three small samples of the Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation (Don't you just love a product name that nobody can remember...♥ ).

I sniffed the volume shampoo and it smells quite nice. I'm going to try the other products tomorrow, but I don't think that they will disappoint me, since they are by well known brands. But let's wait and see...

So in conclusion I am happy with my Glam Box. However, I hope that the next one I'll order will contain something like nail polish. Just something crazy and colourful. I'm such a skirts person! I can't stop wearing them, even during winter. One of my favourites is the floral skirt from Boohoo. The colours are just perfect. Unfortunately I look a little bit bigger than I'm actually are, due to the cut. However, I paired the skirt with my new jacket from H&M. I love Marina and the Diamonds! She's gorgeous, her style is amazing, her voice is unique and the lyrics of her songs aren't just stupid words without meaning. I've been listening to her song "Teen Idle" all day long and so I took it as a name for my new outfit. It's a rather dark outfit with a touch of playfulness, thanks to the polkadot tights.

I realised that I've never shown you my cute little "Color Me Pink"-Set by OPI. It contains two nail polishes (That's Berry Daring & Princesses Rule) and a sample of the Avojuice body lotion. I was surprised how good the body lotion is. It smells fantastic and leaves your skin sooo soft. I'm thinking about buying the normal size edition.

Have you heard the news? H&M is creating a new affordable luxury line, called "& Other Stories". According to a short article on Vogue UK, there will be stores in Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, London, Milan, Paris and Stockholm selling the pieces in spring 2013. Up to now, there's a webpage that forwards you to Youtube. The videos are amazing! Check them out here.

Do you like this new concept or not? I love it! One more reason to plan a trip to one of the cities with a "& Other Stories" store (unfortunately, there's no online store for Switzerland)!

If someone asked me what my favourite free time activity is, I'd probably say shopping. Seriously, I love strolling through stores, touching different materials, discovering new patterns and leaving with a bag packed with new pieces on my arm and a smile on my face.

So as you may have guessed, I went shopping last Friday. I photographed my favourite buyings of that day and of a shopping spree through Zurich from some weeks ago.

Everytime I listen to "Bittersweet" by Ellie Goulding and Skrillex I get really emotional, because it's such a wonderful song. So I tried to create a look around it. The result is a mix of nude shades and beautiful materials: lace and faux fur. Unfortunately I'm not the greatest model, so there are only a few pictures. I really try to improve at looking prettier in front of the camera.

Here comes part 2 of the pictures featuring Tane Mahuta, Auckland, Pauanui and the most gorgeous view I've ever seen.
Tane Mahuta means "Lord of the Forest". It's the largest living kauri tree in New Zealand, probably one of the oldest and it's really important for the Maori. When we arrived to take pictures, there was a little group of tourists, but it was really quiet. I think everyone was quite impressed by Tane Mahuta.

Pauanui is situated on the Coromandel Peninsula. It's a small village and apparantly lots of rich New Zealanders have a holiday house there. We lived in small yet cute and modern apartments.

We spent our last night in a hotel in Auckland. In the morning before our flight left, we went power shopping. There are many cool stores, all in the same street which makes it really easy to buy a lot in a small amount of time... Switzerland is also represented in Auckland: there's a store with Swiss watches and a Mövenpick shop (ice cream ♥). Unfortunately we only saw two streets of Auckland, but I'd love to go back.

And last but not least, we found a breathtaking place while travelling from Paihia to Pauanui. Words can't describe it, so just have a look at the pictures.
