When I look back at this journey, I see nothing but good memories. Well, the first few hours weren't that awesome: I got sick the evening before our flight left. Additionally, I was really afraid of flying. However, after six departures and landings I got over that.

Anyway, I want to focus on the nice things right now. The landscape is really gorgeous, special and diverse. But just have a look at the pictures, they are self-explanatory. Our hotels and apartments were situated in Paihia, Pauanui, Rotorua, Napier, Whakatane and Auckland. So we travelled a lot in our rental car. Fortunately, it wasn't too hot! Man, there are so many good memories, I don't know what to write without this post getting too long.
