Have you heard the news? H&M is creating a new affordable luxury line, called "& Other Stories". According to a short article on Vogue UK, there will be stores in Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, London, Milan, Paris and Stockholm selling the pieces in spring 2013. Up to now, there's a webpage that forwards you to Youtube. The videos are amazing! Check them out here.
Do you like this new concept or not? I love it! One more reason to plan a trip to one of the cities with a "& Other Stories" store (unfortunately, there's no online store for Switzerland)!

I don't know where to start right now. During the last weeks, I did not have a lot of motivation to post anything here on the blog and there are different reasons for that. When I have a look at other blogs, I feel like a loser. My pictures aren't as good as theirs, I don't have as many clothes, I don't go to a different restaurant or event every day, I don't have blonde hair and I don't look like a model. Another big problem is that I don't have a photographer who could take pictures every day.
What I'm trying to say is that I'd love to be a pretty, stylish and successful blogger, but there are so many out there already. Sometimes I just feel like I'm not a blogger, I don't fit into this scene, although I love fashion, travelling etc.
However, I'm really going to try to be a good blogger for my readers (if there are some who read my blog on a regular basis) and also for myself, because I want to acheive something in my life (a career in fashion is my dream).
So let's try and do this! Yesterday, I went to a Casino for the first time. I was really excited and spent almost all afternoon getting ready. I even bought a dress especially for this occasion! And all I can say now is that I was hopelessly overdressed. Story of my life! However, my mantra is "better be overdressed, than underdressed". Here is my outfit (shot in our hallway, because I wasnt sure if taking pictures in the Casino is allowed...).

I also want to show you the products that I use for my foundation routine and my favourite eye shadows at the moment.
The palettes are by essence (sun club 02 long beach), cover girl (exacteyelights for green eyes) and, again, essence (05 to die for). I love that the colours are really combinable.
Tomorrow, my boyfriend and I are going to eat at Restaurant Hiltl in Zurich once again. I'm really looking forward and not just to eating, but also to my outfit, which I think is amazing. I hope to see some fashionable people in Zurich, since the "Fashion Days" are taking place this week. So sad I can't be there... I read that Kristina from Kayture is attending it would be amazing if I would meet her (that will probably not happen, but anyways).
Sorry for the huge amount of text, I just wanted to tell you guys about what's going on in my life. See you soon with a new post on food and fashion.

I'm really sorry for my long absence. I had a lot to do during the last months, so I only updated the German blog. But now I'm back with a new design :) And since I didn't introduce myself, I want to do so now.
My actual name is Selina, I'm 18 years old and I'm from Switzerland. I went to High School for four years and now that I'm finished, I'm going to work for one year. After that, I want to go to university in Zurich. I do have a passion for fashion, beauty and music and I wanted to share that passion with as many people as possible. I also like taking pictures, but I'm not that good at it yet and that's why I want to improve in my gap year, so you can enjoy beautiful pictures :)

On Tuesday, I went shopping in Konstanz with my boyfriend. The day was perfect, not only because of the lovely weather. We bought quite a lot of stuff. We ate at Subway. I had never tried their sandwiches before, but now I'm in love with them. Unfortunately, there's no Subway near the place I live, otherwise I'd go there often :D
We also had some ice cream, but i did not document that. Now I want to show you what I bought. Some stuff I got at a shopping centre called Lago, other things are from stores all around town. At H&M, I bought a pretty white long dress. I want to wear it at my "prom" (in Switzerland it's called Maturaball). Well, I already had a dress to wear for that occasion, but, like always, i needed to have this white one, even if I might not wear it. Here's a picture of that gown (i'm sorry for the weird background)

I also got a top from H&M. Many times, I had a look at it on the internet. I picked it up for 10 Euros. A pretty good deal.

At Douglas, I finally found what I had been looking for: A foundation brush! Up to now, I'm very pleased with the results. The price was about 6 Euros.
While walking around in the centre of Konstanz, I suddenly saw a store called "Marco Tozzi". On an earlier shopping tour with a friend, I had seen some beautiful shoes of that brand. Inside the store, I found exactly this pair of shoes and a pretty similar one, but with an even more beautiful pattern. My boyfriend bought them for me as a Valentine's Day present. They are so gorgeous!
I also had to go to dm and Müller, two drugstores. At Müller, I bought the cute Hello Kitty can with the sweet content. The Alverde products are from dm. I love the shampoo, conditioner and moisturising spray. Also the packings are beautiful. Unfortunately, I cannot buy these products in Switzerland. Well, there's one possibility: the Amazon Onlinestore. However, I think I'd rather go to Konstanz again, than buying the products in an online store. I love shopping in real life, not virtually :)
My boyfriend also got me my birthday present. You'll see that soon here on my blog. A little hint: It consists of three parts, two are pink and one is purple. As you can see, I'm falling in love with the candy colours trend. More about that in the beginning of April ;)
