Zippers Belong to the Front

The zipper that we know today was patented in 1923 by a Swiss man. This year, it celebrates a comeback - but at a whole new place: at the front of dresses or skirts. At least H&M thinks so. I love this "trend" and there are several reasons for that:

Reason Nr 1: A zipper can "separate" patterns. As you can see in the examples below, the zipper is placed in the middle of the dress. This divides the piece of clothing and it seems less profuse.












Reason Nr 2: It also works the other way round: A zipper can make a plain dress or skirt more interesting.






Reason Nr 3: It's so easy to get in and out of such a piece :D
