My Boyfriend and I are vegetarians (I still eat fish). So as a present for Christmas he got a voucher for Restaurant Hiltl in Zurich. When we arrived, I immediately noticed the stylish and modern interior. The big buffet is situated on the ground floor, our table was on the first floor where we could see into the kitchen. A nice eyecatcher: the gorgeous chandelier.

Since we had never been there before, we wanted to try out every meal and so we put as much as possible on our plates. You then pay depending on the weight of your plate (1kg = 55 Swiss francs). 

As a drink we had the house made icetea. I can only recommend it, since it's really refreshing.

Of course we also had dessert. Who can resist those sweet temptations? We chose mango mousse, chocolate mousse and raspberry creme. So delicious!

And what is always really important to me is good service. And I can only say positive things about that. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. All in all, it was a great experience to eat at Restaurant Hiltl. What a pity that it is in Zurich :(
