It's not a big secret that I love H&M. So when I was in Zurich and in St.Gallen last week, I enjoyed myself and bought some things. Unfortunately, H&M in Wil is not really that great and that's why I prefer the ones in Zurich, St.Gallen and Winterthur.
I bought a lot of lace pieces. I just adore lace, it's so elegant and feminine. I'm also in love with darker reds and bordeaux (oxblood isn't such a nice term). Another key item of my style are skirts. I don't know why, but I think when I'm wearing pants I look chubby... So that's basically what I got for myself. Click on "read more" to see all the pictures
Enjoy your day, even though it's Monday.

Children get their candy on halloween, I got mine yesterday in Zurich. It was love at first sight when I saw her on H&M's website. I was really excited to meet her. Although I wasn't sure if she would turn up. However, there she was: all pink and shimmery. I hugged her and took her home.
That's the story of how I met and bought my Candy Clutch. Enjoy the pictures of this gorgeous piece!

Florence + the Machine @ Eishalle Deutweg, Winterthur
Thursday, November 22, 2012
Wow, what an amazing show! Florence + the Machine are so great live. Florence Welch is such a strong and talented woman with a powerful voice. Everyone was fascinated by her and her energy. She can sing and jump around at the same time. The atmosphere was magical. The Machine blew my mind as well, her band is fantastic. I loved the background singers!
I made a lot of videos with my mobile phone camera. I thought they're going to turn out amazing. However, the sound quality is proper shit! But: I made one video with my good old digital camera and put it on youtube. Enjoy!
I didn't take a picture of my outfit, but I'm going to wear it again and take pictures then. Honestly, I've never seen so many fashionistas and hipsters in one place. So many girls were wearing at least two rings, lace tops and bracelets.
Florence looked gorgeous herself in her maxi dress and performing barefoot. However, I've got to admit that I liked her performance at the OpenAir St.Gallen more. Nonetheless, she was fantastic yesterday!
I got one more video from the OpenAir were she stands like literally two meters in front of me. Do you want to see that as well?
Enjoy your evening! XoXo S
I get really happy when I go to a shop and leave with a nice piece of clothing, delicous food or gorgeous shoes in my bag. It's like a bought a gift for myself. So I decided that it's time to do that again. Boohoo is an online shop that I discovered long ago and recently I found it again. They have amazing stuff and so I ordered two pieces: a beautiful flower skirt and a moustache shirt. I was really happy with the whole process of ordering and getting my parcel. They even put in a little catalogue of their christmas collection. I love it! I took some pictures of the unpacking. Click on "read more" to have a look at them!
Tonight's the big night: I'm so glad that we have tickets to see Florence + the Machine live. I hope I can take some pictures for you guys.
I'd like to thank you for reading my blog and feel free to leave a comment.

Florence Welch: My Stylecrush Goddess
Tuesday, November 20, 2012
Some people say that Florence looks really old. Of course she doesn't look like a little girl, but I love her face. She always reminds me of an ancient goddess (and check out her legs, amazing!). Just before her concert in St.Gallen I said to my friends: I bet she's wearing some kind of hippie dress and she's going to perform barefoot. And it really turned out that I was right.
I love that bohemian touch of her outfits. However, sometimes she's more of a rock chick but then again Florence is an elegant lady on the red carpet. I can identify myself really really good with her style.
I'm so excited to see what she'll be wearing on Wednesday in Winterthur. It's going to be one of the best concerts ever, I'm sure about that!
Click on "read more" to see the whole post, like always.
Enjoy the day and see you tomorrow guys. Check my twitter for some random updates during the day!

We are shining and we will never be afraid again

One of the best concerts I've been to was definitely happening last June. Florence + the Machine were my personal highlight of this year's Openair St.Gallen. Their albums are fantastic, but they are even better live. I'm in love with the harp combined with Florence Welch's beautiful voice. I was literally crying during the whole concert. Her songs never fail to touch me. Sometimes they make me really happy and in other moments of my life they bring me down, make me cry and then lift me up again.
I want to show you some of my favourite songs of the band. There are more of course (for example "only if for a night" or "strangeness and charm"), but they don't have a video yet.
I hope you enjoy those songs as much as I do! Click on "read more" to see the whole post.

Christmas Shopping List Part 1
Saturday, November 17, 2012
Going to Zurich in December to do some Christmas shopping is a tradition for me. This year I really want to find perfect pieces for my wardrobe, so I made a shopping list. I'm going to show you potential candidates. Since I found so many great things, I'll do this in two parts.
Part 1 contains:
- Finding the perfect blazer/jacket
- Accessories & Jewellery
- Skirts
- Dresses
I put a link on every picture, so you can easily check out every piece. By the way: I like to have such a huge amount of possibilities, because often the pieces are not in store or they don't look as good as on the internet.

The new Limited Edition by Catrice is called SpectaculART. The most amazing thing about those products is surely the packaging. It's done gorgeously with a lot of golden details. The quality of Catrice products is always good and the best thing: everything is really affordable!
I
bought four products out of this limited edition: the highlighting
powder, the eyeliner, an eyeshadow and a lipstick. Unfortunately, the
lipstick only glitters and doesn't really put any colour onto the lips.
However, I still think that this line is amazing.
If
you can buy Catrice in your country, you should definitely try and get
some of their products. If you want to see more pictures, click on "read

That's what I sometimes think when I'm walking through the streets or get on the bus. Last friday for example: As you might have read, I went to Zurich to eat at Restaurant Hiltl. I wanted to dress a little crazy and extraordinary, since I'm not in Zurich everyday. So I wore a skirt, my boots, some jewellery and my fake fur vest (you remember that outfit, right?). So I entered the bus, got my ticket and sat down. Those are usually my favourite 20 seconds of a journey. Everyone gets quiet, stares at me and then starts talking to their friends again. I would love to read people's minds during these 20 seconds.
Here some possible thoughts:
- Dafuq is wrong with you girl?
- Really?
- That's what young people wear nowadays?
- Wow, this looks gorgeous!
- Eww...
- I love your bag ♥
What I want to say with this article is that nobody has to like me our my outfit. I understand if someone hates my outfits. They are kind of special sometimes. However, everyone always wants respect and tolerance. I tolerate everyone. I don't judge people's clothes. This might sound strange since I love fashion and everything around it, but like I said: I like it, not everyone has to like it.
However, show some tolerance in every situation of your life. Be kind to other people and don't judge people on the basis of their look. Smile at them. What goes around comes around. That's what some people in Switzerland don't understand I think.
Have you experienced similar things? Or do you think that my point of view is completely wrong?
Love, Freedom, Tolerance and Respect!
I guess everyone knows my "Fashion Against Aids" Skirt, because I never got tired to show it to you guys. I loved the whole collection because of the aztec print. It's a little bit "hipsterish", but combined with a white blouse and pretty high heels you can add a touch of elegance. Surfing through the internet, I found some amazing pieces with aztec print. I started a new board on pinterest and I'm going to add more and more dresses, skirts etc. In case you find a nice piece, send me the link so I can have a look at it and maybe I'm going to pin it onto my board. Just click here if you want to see it.

Hiltl Volume 2 & Oxbloody Fantastic
Saturday, November 10, 2012
Zurich is not only a gorgeous city, there are also a lot of places that offer amazing food. Our first stop was the Lindt & Sprüngli shop. We bought the beloved and famous Luxemburgerli, a must when you are in Zurich.
However, the reason we went to Zurich was Restaurant Hiltl. It's a place where you can only order vegetarian or vegan food. My boyfriend and me ate there for the second time. This time, we sat downstairs. I personally think that this part of the restaurant is even prettier than the one upstairs.
We decided to order the Red Thai Curry, the Mushroom Penne and of course the housemade Ice Tea. Everything was amazing, as well as the service. The staff is really friendly and fast. For dessert, we had the Panna Cotta.
All in all I can say that our second visit was even greater than the first one. I love the atmosphere, the interior design and the food.

After the visit, we tried to do a little shooting in the streets of Zurich, but we failed miserably. However, I have two pictures of the outfit. I guess I'll wear that outfit again and make some more pictures. I called this look "Oxbloody Fantastic".
I hope you like the post anyway. XoXo S
I love this "lamp"! Do you see the green writing in the background? Those are tweets that are connected to Restaurant Hiltl. How cool is that?
And this is the pattern of the sofa I sat on. Isn't it gorgeous?

Every fashionista has her personal wishlist. Some want a Louis Vuitton bag, others the new dress they saw at H&M. So I wanted to visualise my wishlist. However, since I am really creative (just kidding) I call these posts on my blog "WOW posts". This weeks WOW post is all about Zara.
I went through the whole Zara online store and found some pretty amazing pieces. I feel like Zara's designer got a lot of their inspiration from Dolce & Gabbana. Their collection involves a lot of black mixed with gold. I love that!
Be prepared for moreWOW posts! And don't forget to write me an e-mail if you have any questions, remarks or tips!

Bad Blogger & Casino Royale
Thursday, November 08, 2012
I don't know where to start right now. During the last weeks, I did not have a lot of motivation to post anything here on the blog and there are different reasons for that. When I have a look at other blogs, I feel like a loser. My pictures aren't as good as theirs, I don't have as many clothes, I don't go to a different restaurant or event every day, I don't have blonde hair and I don't look like a model. Another big problem is that I don't have a photographer who could take pictures every day.
What I'm trying to say is that I'd love to be a pretty, stylish and successful blogger, but there are so many out there already. Sometimes I just feel like I'm not a blogger, I don't fit into this scene, although I love fashion, travelling etc.
However, I'm really going to try to be a good blogger for my readers (if there are some who read my blog on a regular basis) and also for myself, because I want to acheive something in my life (a career in fashion is my dream).
So let's try and do this! Yesterday, I went to a Casino for the first time. I was really excited and spent almost all afternoon getting ready. I even bought a dress especially for this occasion! And all I can say now is that I was hopelessly overdressed. Story of my life! However, my mantra is "better be overdressed, than underdressed". Here is my outfit (shot in our hallway, because I wasnt sure if taking pictures in the Casino is allowed...).

I also want to show you the products that I use for my foundation routine and my favourite eye shadows at the moment.
The palettes are by essence (sun club 02 long beach), cover girl (exacteyelights for green eyes) and, again, essence (05 to die for). I love that the colours are really combinable.
Tomorrow, my boyfriend and I are going to eat at Restaurant Hiltl in Zurich once again. I'm really looking forward and not just to eating, but also to my outfit, which I think is amazing. I hope to see some fashionable people in Zurich, since the "Fashion Days" are taking place this week. So sad I can't be there... I read that Kristina from Kayture is attending it would be amazing if I would meet her (that will probably not happen, but anyways).
Sorry for the huge amount of text, I just wanted to tell you guys about what's going on in my life. See you soon with a new post on food and fashion.
